一、 務必自行注意申請表格、申請單位的各項規定。
All applicants should make sure they are both eligible and qualified to apply as international students, and make sure that all the necessary documents are provided and completed.
二、 依教育部規定，外籍學生經入學學校以操行、學業成績不及格或因犯刑事案件經判刑確定致遭退學者，不得再經由本管道申請入學。違反此規定並經查證屬實者，撤銷其所獲准入學資格。
In accordance with the regulation of the Ministry of Education, applicants who were expelled from any academic programs in the R.O.C. because of conduct, failure in school work or being sentenced by committing crimes are not eligible to apply. Applicants who violate this regulation and are confirmed positive after verification will have their admission nullified or status as a Taiwan Steel University of Science and Technology student revoked.
三、 外國學生註冊入學時，未逾該學年第一學期修業期間三分之一者，於當學期入學；已逾該學年第一學期修業期間三分之一入境者，依照台灣教育部規定，不得註冊入學。
In the event of late enrollment delayed for less than one third of the semester, students will be permitted to enroll for the current semester. In the event of late arrival delayed for over one third of the semester, students won’t be entitled for enrollment according to the regulation of MOE.
四、 為維護專班學生學習品質，如非採全英語授課班別（含採全中文或採中英文混合授課班別），申請時未提供華語文能力A1級證明，則須通過本校華語文中心之華語文檢定，且入學時未具華語文能力A2（含）級以上外國學生，本校將強化學生華語文能力，學生須於一年級第二學期結束前通過華語文能力A2（含）級以上測驗。如未能通過華語文能力A2（含）級以上測驗者，本校將逕予退學。另專班如採全英語授課班別，本校將輔導學生應於畢業前具備A2（含）級以上華語文能力。
To ensure educational quality, if a class is not taught in an all English language instruction (including mix language classroom of English and Chinese) applicants who do not provide proof of Chinese language proficiency at level A1 when applying must take a Chinese proficiency test administered by the university's Chinese Language Center. and the foreign student did not acquire TOCFL level (A2) or above before the enrollment, the school will try to improve students’ Chinese proficiency, students must pass TOCFL level (A2) or above before the end of the second semester. Fail to pass the TOCFL level (A2) or above before the deadline will be dropped out of the school. If the class is taught in an all English instruction, then the students must acquire TOCFL level (A2) or above before graduation.
五、 依教育部規定，國際產學專班學生若有不適應之情事，經學校輔導及審查通過後，得轉銜至校內其他系科就讀，然專班學生須符合一般外國學生入學時應備之語言能力標準及足以支付在臺就學之財力等。
In accordance with the Ministry of Education regulations, IBPIUC Students are allowed to transfer to other classes if they can’t adapt to the IBPIUC classes. However, Students should be able to submit certificates which prove their language proficiency and financial resources.
六、 所有申請文件一概不退還，請自行保留備份。
No application documents will be returned, whether the applicants are admitted or not. Please make copies for yourself if needed.
七、 中英文版本如有出入時，以中文版為準。
If there are any discrepancies between the English and Chinese versions, the Chinese version shall apply.
八、 本校學生修讀學士學位之修業期限，以四年為原則。至少須修滿一百二十八學分，在規定修業期限內未俢滿應俢學分者，得延長修業期限二年。
The standard duration for students pursuing a bachelor's degree at our university is four years. However, At least one hundred and twenty-eight credits must be completed. If the required credits are not completed within the prescribed period, the period of study may be extended by two years.
九、 已錄取之學生，如經發現申請資格不符規定或所繳交之證件有變造、偽造、假借、冒用等不實情事者，未入學者即取消錄取資格；已入學者開除學籍，亦不發給任何學歷證明；如將來在本校畢業後始發現者，除勒令繳銷其學位證書外，並公告取消其畢業資格。
For students who have applied or are enrolled, if the application qualifications are found not to
meet the provisions, or if the certificates submitted are found to be forged, altered or fraudulent, or if any other inaccurate information has been provided, those who have yet to be admitted will have their application canceled; those that have been enrolled will be expelled and no academic credentials will be issued. For those discovered after their graduation to be guilty of the above infractions, besides being ordered to their degree certificate for cancellation, an announcement will also be made to return the effect nor the degree has been nullified.
十、 入學許可並不保證簽證取得，簽證須由我國駐外館處核給。
An admission notification does not guarantee issuance of a visa; visas are issued by an ROC overseas representative office.
十一、 外國學生來臺就學後，其於就學期間許可在臺初設戶籍登記、戶籍遷入登記、歸化或回復中華民國國籍者，喪失國際學生身分，應予退學。
Foreign students who come to study in Taiwan, they are allowed to establish household registration, transfer household registration, naturalize, or regain Republic of China nationality during their period of study, shall lose their status as international students and shall be required to withdraw from their studies.
十二、 依教育部規定， 外國學生註冊時，新生應檢附已於國外投保自入境當日起六個月以上效期之醫療及傷害保險，否則本校將依教育部規定請學生強制投保短期保險。
According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education, foreign students registering at our school, new students should attach medical and accident insurance valid for more than six months from the date of entry into the country, otherwise the school will, in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education, require students to compulsorily purchase short-term insurance.
